Lawson-Fisher Associates worked under the leadership of Cleland Engineering on this project, and assisted Marion Utilities with the planning, design, and construction of an upgrade to the influent pumping station at their Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Ultimately, the project design included reuse of the existing wet well by rehabilitating it with a structural coating, new horizontal immersible pumps, new piping and valves, new flow meters, upgraded electrical systems, and new emergency generator. Other design considerations included provisions for bypass pumping during construction and installation of a new sluice gate to isolate the wet well.
