Starting in 1996, Lawson-Fisher Associates began providing on-call bridge rehabilitation services for INDOT through a series of renewed contracts and new selections. During this period, the designs for the rehabilitation of a total of 70 bridges were completed. Project scopes included bridge deck repair and overlay, railing replacement, superstructure and substructure widening, deck replacement, superstructure replacement, bearing replacement, conversion to semi-integral end bents, replacement of all bridge components except for piling, and hydraulic/scour analysis including scour remediation.

In addition to the rehabilitations performed for INDOT, Lawson-Fisher Associates designed a total of 14 rehabilitation projects for the INDOT Toll Road District prior to the transfer of management and maintenance responsibilities to the current ITR Concession Company.
