Lawson-Fisher Associates was selected by the City of Mishawaka to design the Main Street Phase VI project. The project began as a pavement overlay and widening project that evolved during the design phase a full pavement replacement project. This significant design change and project modification resulted from two primary needs: an evaluation of the existing sewer system and an increased emphasis on the corridor as the City moves forward.
Lawson-Fisher Associates researched a radar traffic signal detection system, an LED street lighting system, and provided extended traffic signal shop drawing review. Lawson-Fisher Associates was responsible for survey, utility coordination, roadway design, storm sewer evaluation and design, signing and pavement marking design and traffic signal design.
