Michael Williams, PE, has joined LFA in the Structural Department as our first Indianapolis remote employee.
Michael will be working in the LFA Structural Department on design of bridges and other structures.
“I was looking for a new challenge at a company that I could continue grow with as it grows,” he said. “I found the management at LFA to be very welcoming and accommodating which was a huge part of my deciding factor.”
With a Masters of Science from State University of New York at Buffalo, the New York City native returned to the city after graduation and began his career at a large engineering firm. He said there he got the opportunity to work on several large projects around the world and New York City itself. As his career progressed, he continued working in both public and private sectors, focused on bridge design and inspection.
His recent move to Indiana was inspired by a desire to leave big city life behind and enjoy Indiana’s more relaxed pace.
