Paul A. Hummel, P.E. – President & Senior Civil Engineer
Paul A. Hummel is President and a Senior Civil Engineer with over 30 years of experience in transportation engineering and construction administration. He is responsible for management and oversight of all transportation projects, field surveys and services during construction. Paul has a thorough understanding of the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) and its policies. He has been Project Manager on over 75 INDOT projects and an even greater number of local projects. Paul received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Indiana and Michigan.
Michael F. Johnston, P.E. – Senior Civil Engineer
Michael F. Johnston is a Senior Civil Engineer with over 41 years of experience in transportation, civil and general construction projects. He has managed highway and civil engineering projects for conceptual analysis and feasibility design to construction plan preparation. Michael has also managed DOT highway and traffic design projects, supervised construction administration of Local Public Agency (LPA) transportation and bridge projects and served as design project engineer. Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Indiana Institute of Technology and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.
Michael J. Guzik, P.E. – Vice President & Senior Civil Engineer
Michael J. Guzik is a Vice President and Senior Civil Engineer with over 18 years of experience in INDOT transportation engineering combined with a wide and diverse range of other client projects. He is primarily responsible for INDOT project management, leading design project team members and providing design technical expertise and other required guidance for a broad range of Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) work. These 3R and 4R freeway and non-freeway projects have included: new divided highway alignments, new interchange or interstate interchange modifications, added travel lanes, geometric corrections, spot intersection improvements, signal designs, signing designs, storm water collection design, detention or retention design, small structure replacements, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling. Mike has a thorough understanding of INDOT standards, policies and procedures with a firm grasp of the INDOT project development process as it has evolved over the past two decades. He has been the project manager for multiple high profile INDOT Central Office projects with challenging schedules, budgets, or both. Additionally, he has also been the project manager on numerous INDOT District and Local Public Agency projects. Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida and is registered in both Indiana and Michigan.
Gregory L. Holden, P.E. – Senior Structural Engineer
Gregory L. Holden is a Senior Structural Engineer with over 39 years of experience in structures and structural design. He is responsible for project manager and structural design for various structural and civil engineering projects including, dams, hydraulic and related structures, low-rise office, school and industrial buildings and structures, new highway bridges, existing bridge rehabilitation, county bridge inspection, industrial piping and supports, heavy structural design for power plants and structural failure investigations. Greg received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University in 1973 and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Indiana, Michigan and Iowa and is a Registered Structural Engineer in the state of Illinois.
