Paul A. Hummel, P.E. – President & Senior Civil Engineer
Paul A. Hummel is President and a Senior Civil Engineer with over 30 years of experience in transportation engineering and construction administration. He is responsible for management and oversight of all transportation projects, field surveys and services during construction. Paul has a thorough understanding of the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) and its policies. He has been Project Manager on over 75 INDOT projects and an even greater number of local projects. Paul received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Indiana and Michigan.
Michael F. Johnston, P.E. – Senior Civil Engineer
Michael F. Johnston is a Senior Civil Engineer with over 41 years of experience in transportation, civil and general construction projects. He has managed highway and civil engineering projects for conceptual analysis and feasibility design to construction plan preparation. Michael has also managed DOT highway and traffic design projects, supervised construction administration of Local Public Agency (LPA) transportation and bridge projects and served as design project engineer. Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Indiana Institute of Technology and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.
Dennis A. Zebell, P.E., CPESC – Senior Civil Engineer
Dennis A. Zebell is a Senior Civil Engineer with over 33 years of experience in the fields of water resources, water and wastewater with specific expertise in the design and construction management of dams, levees, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water distribution, pumping stations and storm water management. Dennis has been involved in a significant number of dam rehabilitation projects for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) and the Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA). His experience also includes numerous storm, sanitary and water projects for various municipalities in the state of Indiana. Dennis received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Indiana, Michigan, Illinois and Colorado. Dennis is also a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) and an active member in several professional organizations including American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Indiana Water Environment Association (IWEA), American Water Works Association (AWWA), Indiana Association for Floodplain and Stormwater Management (INAFSM), and Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO).
Sky K. Medors, P.E., CFM, CPESC – Senior Civil Engineer
Sky K. Medors is a Senior Civil Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the design and management of water resource projects. He has participated in both urban and rural hydrology and hydraulics projects and has been involved with the development of Emergency Action Plans for high hazard dams, including the testing and annual updating of these plans. Sky has likewise served as Project Manager for a variety of water resource projects from planning through design and construction phases. Sky received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. He is also a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM), Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) and an active member of many professional engineering associations.
